Most people of all races and colors I know seem to have their shoes glued on even inside their own home, but I always go barefoot, at home and elsewhere. It’s not that anyone objects here -actually anyone objecting to my bare feet is extremely rare here in the Netherlands- but it’s just personal preference of most people to keep their shoes on morning til night.

Our feet do not ’spread’ and get ‘wide’ from going barefoot; that is how they are supposed to be! Our feet should be wide and strong with straight toes. Shoes push the toes in and make the foot more narrow, not the other way around. To claim our feet get ‘wide’ from going barefoot is like a 17th century woman who might complain her ribcage got ‘wide’ from not wearing a bodice!

Also while it’s true that the human hookworm can penetrate the feet but it’s been pretty much eradicated from the South since modern plumbing has replaced the outhouses, and it never was a serious problem in cooler climates. The canine hookworm is still far more common but it’s also less likely to burrow through our skin. See source.

Some do, some don’t.

I’m white and I make everyone take thier shoes off before they come further in my house, and I take mine off as well of course.

That’s how my family and I were back in England too.

i’m black and i walk barefoot in my home only….it’s all about individual preference!..not race

We all take our shoes off as soon as we enter our home. It has nothing to do with our race. We don’t want to track dirt and mud in our home. We like to keep our floors clean. Usually when I go to someone else’s house I’ll take off my shoes as well. I don’t want to dirty their floor either. But, it doesn’t bother me when guests come into my home and keep their shoes on. It’s a lot of trouble for some to remove their shoes. I don’t make a big deal out of it. I’m not that obsessive about my floors. 2D

Definitely wear dark wash skinnies. sneakers out to some places-bowling, beach-if they’re nice, but if you just met the guy, wear shoes like cute flats or heels(red would be cute as a pop of color if you’ve got them). play up the outfit with cute but simple accesories and a purse. Wear some skinny jeans with either flats or heels with a pop of color. Then I’d add a few long necklaces and you’ll look cute.

You can wear skinny jeans with flat… Sneakers are perfectly fine as long as u match and thyre not worn out.
You can wear makeup but not too much.
And dont be nervous… he’s prolly gunna be nervous too

My shoes in the house do it because **** dirty carpet some people like clean floors others dont.

The only exception is my shoes before coming in the house etc the first thing do is my sisterinlaw she asks all her guests to remove their shoes before coming in my own house think id be happy about this but.
